Watercolor Painting

Blog

Our 2nd bucket list adventure was taking a watercolor class. I found this class online on a site called Creative Bug.   What’s neat about this is they give you a 7-day free trial to take any classes you would like to try. Creative Bug has some amazing classes from painting, sewing to baking!

We decided on taking a watercolor painting class. This lesson taught us how to use watercolor paints with stencils.

We went to Michaels together to gather our materials. The class tells you exactly what materials you will need. Honestly, going to Michaels together may just be one of our favorite things to do together!

Watercolor painting was a really fun activity to learn. You would think that using a stencil would make it easier to paint, but actually, it was more difficult than we thought! After the class, we kind of just played around using the stencils to make our own creations.

My daughter created some cute gift tags for some gifts we were giving. I think they turned out pretty awesome. She used her hand lettering skills too!

We had lots of fun water coloring! It is a relaxing activity that allows you to be so creative. Carving out a little time to learn a new skill, connect with my daughter has been such a blessing.

I have been creating videos for each bucket list adventure! I created a YouTube channel to share these videos! I would love for you to check it out and subscribe to my YouTube channel!
