I provide moms with creative ways to connect with their daughters and give them the tools they need to help build their confidence and give them courage.
My name is Laura and I'm on a mission to empower women and girls to build unshakable confidence and create meaningful connections.
I believe that when women feel confident and empowered, they can create a ripple effect of positive change, not just in their own lives, but in the lives of their daughters and the world around them.
Together, let's break the cycle of self-doubt and build a generation of strong, confident women and girls.
Last year we celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday with a Nutcracker party.
I loved the idea of using golds, pinks and lots of sparkles.
For the dessert table backdrop, I enlarged clip art of 2 different nutcrackers and a silhouette of Clara I purchased from Pen N Paper Flowers. I traced them onto 3 long canvases and then painted them using metallic gold paint. This was time-consuming but worth it for the perfect backdrop.
The party favors were adorable white boxes filled with Nutcracker ornaments, Christmas tree craft, and chocolate!
The desserts were a big hit! I ordered birthday cake pops from Starbucks and chocolate-covered Oreo’s from Sweeties by Kim .
I loved using all my daughters collected Nutcracker’s to decorate the table.
This picture was perfect for the table too. This was taken when she was 3 years old.
The gorgeous cake was from a local baker, Jennifer Shaffer. Let me tell you, she really outdid herself! She used ballerina ornaments and adorable trees which she piped white frosting onto each branch!
This party was so much fun to put together! I thought this was a perfect time to showcase this party with Christmas only a few days away!
Let me know what you think of this Nutcracker Party!! I would love to hear from you!
