Black and White Polka Dot Party

Blog

My daughter celebrated her 9th birthday this past November.   I can’t believe she is already nine years old.  Time sure flies and I just want her to stay little forever.   She requested a black and white theme party this year and I was all for this!  I designed a small dessert table made with mostly homemade treats added a few store-bought items.  This makes my life easier, especially on party day!    Keep it simple yet delicious and you have a great dessert table for any party!

I started with this super fun balloon garland from the Happy Wish Company.  These balloon kits come with everything you need to create this amazing backdrop for your party.  I know it looks difficult but it is so easy to put together!  It just takes some time!

I made the cupcakes and cake for the dessert table.  I love to bake so much!  I always use piping tips to frost my cupcakes.  They are easy to use and make for beautiful cupcakes!

A few store-bought goodies for the table were popcorn, mini Oreo’s and chocolate covered Oreo’s from Sweeties By Kim.  Display store-bought items in cute mini containers for a great presentation.

The guest’s favors were these mini gumball machines. The perfect party favor or even a classroom treat for any holiday.  I filled mine with M&M’s I had personalized with my daughter’s picture and name.
