Create an Adventure List!

Blog

My daughter Grace is 11 years old and has such a busy schedule. Very soon she will heading into her teenage years. I wanted to make a commitment to spending one on one time with her. I want to create a mother daughter bond that will hopefully get us through those teenage years.

Well, I am not guaranteed this will happen but hey, it’s worth a try! I thought I would share our adventures with you and maybe give you some fun ideas to do with your daughter! Follow me on Instagram because I will be sharing all our adventures together!

I think this will be a fun way to explore passions together or maybe find passions my daughter or I don’t even know we have.

The first thing my daughter and I decided we will be doing together is taking a hand lettering class online. Grace and I love anything crafty! I have been a “doodler” my entire life and we decided together that we would like to take a class together to learn a new creative way to write.

We chose to take the Maghon Taylor hand lettering class from All She Wrote Notes. She is adorable and if you don’t follow her on Instagram you need too. She is amazing and spreads so much joy! I hope you will follow along on our first creative adventure!

I created this fun Mother–Daughter survey for you. How it works is that you both fill it out privately and then get together to discuss it and make a bucket list together.

Bucket list and interest inventory for moms and daughters!

Fill out the survey privately and then share it with each other. If you find you have lots in common then GREAT! That’s your starting point! If not, then maybe choose a few from each of your lists!

I also included a bucket list for you both to write down all your ideas together. Write down all the things you would love to try and do together!

My goal with this is to help you and your daughter create a special connection while exploring, learning and spending quality time together. It’s a great way to explore each other’s interests and maybe both of you will find a new passion. I want all of you to join us, so as moms we can encourage confidence in our girls to live a life of big dreams and passions!

No matter what, just being together and enjoying each other creates a special bond that hopefully will help build your daughters self-esteem. We need to encourage them to see how wonderful they are inside and out.

So please JOIN US in creating your own adventures for you and your daughter! Let’s start creating relationships, memories and adventures together.

I REALLY would love if you would share you and your daughter’s adventures with me!

My girls are so excited to come up with bucket lists! I am making one with each of my daughters! However, we found a few things they BOTH have on their lists! Wonderful idea! It makes every moment count!
