Hi again friends! A few days a go I showed you how to make the cutest pumpkin cupcake! As promised I am going to show you another creative and easy DIY Halloween cupcake. My Bat Cupcake was much fun to make an a great treat for kids to help with! This fun cupcake will also include step-by-step instructions.
Batty Halloween
- First, start with baking your cupcakes (any flavor will do) homemade or from a box
- Choose any chocolate icing you like, homemade or can frosting
- Next, place your cupcake in a cupcake wrapper you see here (You can not bake in these) or just find a black cupcake liner and bake in that.
- Supplies you will need a glue gun, glue sticks, 2 candy eyes, 2 bat wings cut out of black paper
- For the Wings: Cut 2 small wings out of black construction paper. make the top more rounded and the bottom of the wings have 2 small jagged edges.
- Make a small fold on the end of the wing and put some hot glue on the folded piece
- Attach to one side of the cupcake wrapper
- Repeat on the other side but make sure it is even on that side
- Eyes: Hot glue the 2 candy eyes on the front of the cupcake wrapper. Let dry
- Frost your cupcakes
