My goal this year is to create some fun family memories and traditions each month. A special day or night that is dedicated to being together as a family. Connection is my word for 2018 and this is what it’s all about!
My idea is to add a few special details to make it fun and memorable for my kids. As a busy mom, I need to make it simple, plan ahead and I want to help all of you do the same.
I decided I wanted to create a fun pizza night! This idea would be perfect for Valentine’s Day evening or on any weekend.
I created a simple invitation to get them excited! Send the invitation in their lunchbox so they are excited to come home and have some fun! If you are planning this on a weekend, just set it out with their breakfast.
This invitation is a free printable!
Love you more than Pizza
I also made an 8×10 print that you can put in a frame and set out on the table. Super easy and adds a fun detail!
I created a step by step printable to make this pizza night really easy for you. Honestly, this doesn’t have to be a crazy Pinterest party. Make it easy and simple. We are all busy, but by adding a few fun details and using my printables it makes this pizza night extra special.
Creating these memories is whats most important!
The printable includes a grocery list, free printable ideas, and some creative details to add some fun!

Here are a few details from our family pizza night!
Use cookie cutters to cut the pizza crust! My kids loved these mini heart pizzas!
Use cupcake wrappers for the toppings! Easy to grab and clean up after!
My kids were a little nervous about the green peppers. I was shocked because my son actually liked them! YAY!
I found these fun pizza pencils and notepads with stickers from the Target dollar spot! The red cake stands were also found at the Target dollar spot.
They helped us make our pizza too!
Remember Moms…..
- You don’t have to set up a huge over the top party to make memories.
- Just add a few fun details, for example, using my 8X10 print, invitation, using cookie cutters.
- Planning ahead is key and remember what it’s all about, making memories together as a family.
I would love to hear from you and what you thought about this idea of creating family fun days each month.
