Sometimes it’s hard to believe in ourselves and our abilities. We can struggle when things get hard or when things aren’t going our way. We need to learn to feel good inside ourselves. Today I wanted to share a few ways that can help you believe in yourself a little more, especially when no one else does.
Find smalls wins every day.
At the end of the day think about some of the small things that went your way that day. What are some things that made you happy and that you did well at. Did you make a friend laugh, did you get an A or B on a test you studied for, did you work hard at practice today? Think about the small things you did every day that is a small win. It doesn’t have to be crazy just something small. Those are all small wins or things that you can pat yourself on the back for. If you do this every night before bed you will go to bed feeling pretty good about yourself.
Be proud of who you are.
There is only 1 you. Out of the million billion people in this world. Don’t be hard on yourself or compare yourself to others. Be proud of yourself because there will only ever be one you! Be proud of who you are, what you love, what you do every single day.
Start believing it’s possible.
The first step in anything you do is belief. Don’t let fear or self-doubt hold you back. Start believing in your own potential and watch amazing things happen. No one is going to believe in you more than YOU! You are going to have to be your biggest cheerleader.
Earn your trust.
Once you start to believe in who you are and your abilities you can start to trust yourself more. What this does is it helps you to be a little bit braver in your life. You will be more willing to try new things. This will help you grow in more ways than one.
