Simple Easter Table

Easter is right around the corner!   I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait for Spring and warmer weather.  I created a simple and cute Easter dessert table to show you how easy it is to add a festive touch to your party without a lot of work.

First, start with a color scheme or theme!   I fell in love with this tassel garland and the soft pastel pink, blue and mint colors.  I thought what a fun Easter color scheme!    It reminded me of the colors of Easter eggs.  This tassel garland is actually called “candy shop” and how perfect is that for Easter.   Tassel garland is so easy to put together and adds such a festive touch to any party.  I hung these two tassel garlands as the backdrop to my table.

Next, I  created a fun banner and just love how it turned out!  I especially love the bunnies!  All I did to make the bunny was googled a bunny silhouette and printed two.  Cut them out and added a fun tassel tail to match my tassel garland backdrop.  I loved this banner so much I used it to decorate my mantel!

To make the tail:

  1. Make one hole punch through the area where you will put your tail.
  2. Cut about an inch of colored tissue paper and stick through the hole you made.
  3. Spread the tassel out to create the cutest bunny tail.

Next, I picked a couple of simple yet creative treats to feature on the dessert table.  I chose donuts and cupcakes!  My two favorites!  The donuts were so easy to make and can add such a creative touch to your table this Easter.   Wilton makes these adorable candy bunny feet and tails.  I purchased mine at Michael’s Craft store. All you do to make it is take a  powdered donut and add a little icing to the bottom of the tail and two feet and place them on top of the donut.  So easy!

Cupcakes are always a must at any party!  I made the cupcakes and added a cute cupcake topper and coordinating cupcake wrapper.

Next, I used the plastic french square bottles and filled each with milk and added these adorable bunny straws from Pottery Barn Kids for a quick and easy beverage!

Tip:  You don’t always need to buy decor for your dessert tables.  Always check to see what you have at your house first!   I used the egg tree that I use on my mantel and my cute ceramic bunny.

I hope you are inspired to add a cute yet simple dessert table for your Easter celebration this year!

I would LOVE to know what you think of my Easter table!
