4th of July Party Table

Blog

The Fourth of July is quickly approaching and I created a party table to give you some fun inspiration for this upcoming holiday!   I picked up some things from Target and created a simple yet adorable party table.  I hope you are inspired by my easy and simple tips to create a festive table yourself!

Tip 1:  Decorations are always a fun way to add color and creativity to your party table. Pick up some pretty paper fans for some table decor.  Tape the fans together and then tape them to the front of the table.  These fans are so inexpensive and such a fun way to decorate the table.

Tip 2: Add detail by adding cupcake toppers to your cupcakes. They create a beautiful touch.  Also, try piping the icing on your cupcakes!  It takes some practice, but once you get it you will never frost cupcakes without a piping bag again!  I made these star cupcake toppers using my cutting machine, the Cricut Explore.  Next, hot glue the stars onto a white stick.

Tip 3: Party favors are a must at any party!  It is fun to thank your guests for coming.  I filled my party favors with sparklers, sunglasses, flags and some candy.  I love finding new and creative ways to display desserts or favors on my party table.   I placed these bags on a wall shelf I had and it worked perfectly!

Tip 4:  Find creative ways to serve your drinks.  Try to find fun glasses, mason jars, or bottles to use instead of paper cups.  I used mason jars for the ice water and tied twine around each to add a little something extra to the tops.  I then added red and blue star paper straws to each.  I placed the drinks on the Fourth of July tin tray.

Tip 5: Don’t forget to add cute and festive paper plates and napkins to match your table decor.

I couldn’t complete my dessert table without some sugar cookies! I used a shooting star cookie cutter.  I then sprinkled them with a festive red, white and blue sprinkle mix from Sweets and Treats Shop.

Remember, setting up a party table can be so much fun. Keep it simple and add festive details that show off your creative side.
